September 2010

Dear Reader,

Welcome to this edition of The Cincinnati Times & Labor Report. As we report here, changes in the Department of Labor continue to make compliance a high priority.

Robert Bonnin's article from Workforce Management provides this cautionary insight: "It appears that the DOL is consciously going to do less to help employers comply with the law through meaningful advice and other cooperative tools, and will instead focus on more adversarial proceedings including litigation."

We are pleased to provide businesses with tools to help with record keeping, consistency, accountability and compliance. We’re also proud of our affiliation with the Employers Resource Association and Thompson Hine who are equally committed to assisting all types of organizations navigate this maze.

Please let us know what we can do to help you.
